Job Title – Planning Engineer – Joinery and Fit out Jobs in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Responsibilities:

Analysis of Critical Path, Total Float, Variance Trend and recommendations for recovery and preparing catch up plans/ recovery schedule alternatives.
Providing forensic planning advice and delay/disruption/ sensitivity analysis to enable management to make informed decisions.

Preparing detailed Programs (level 4 & 5) for the look ahead schedules for specific Engineering, Procurement and Construction teams/ departments.
Liaise with the TIA Delay Analysis Team in preparation of narrative & Time Impact Analysis.
Drafting contractual delay notifications, preparing supporting detailed particulars and responses to the Client’s/ Consultant’s queries in relation to EoT claims in accordance with the Contract.

Been responsible for identifying delaying events and maintaining the register for delay events.
Supporting Commercial Manager in financial claim preparation.
Preparing the regular cyclic and exception reports – using excel and dashboard reporting.

Carrying out the sensitivity analysis to enable the management to make informed decisions.
Reviewing & Analyzing Monthly Production Plan against target volume against capacity and resources
Monitoring & Evaluating productivity

Coordinating requirements of On Going projects with the Production Manager in line with the updated Project Program
Preparing all Planning, Reporting, and Monitoring & Control and EoT claim with other related submissions to the Consultant and progress presentations for the Client.

Educational requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
Good command of English

Experience requirements:

Previous experience of working within a wood joinery
Strong Experience in using Primavera (P6) software (essential)
