Process Engineering Specialist – Job Description

• Responsible for stewardship Process Engineering for all Process & Utility Areas scope to deliver of all aspects of Process selection, design, equipment, technical and execution definition, including planning for FEED and detailed design, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning;
• Ensures technical requirements (e.g. project specifications, datasheets, etc.) developed during FEED are fully implemented and comply with project requirements and through effective collaboration and interface management ensures process design considers the full product life cycle;
• This role conducts technical evaluations of multiple EPC tenders for large, capital projects, including risk-based evaluation of complex technical issues, which may have a significant commercial impact on project execution, ensuring they are compliant, technically qualified, and consistent with project requirements;
• Major challenges for this role are;
• effectively provide Process Engineering expertise to deliver technical input in accordance with project requirements from contract award until delivery of Provisional Acceptance Certificate (PAC);
• Maintaining a constructive working relationship with all contractors and vendors to ensure delivery of engineering work scope in accordance with project requirements and maintaining relationships with stakeholders (e.g. Operations Expansion and Start-up and Corporate HSES) to ensure alignment of Process Engineering deliverables.

Process Engineering Specialist – Job Requirement

• Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering discipline or equivalent;
• Circa 20 years experience as a senior Process Engineering supervisory level e.g. Lead / Principal position, with a broad knowledge of Engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction and operations;
• At least two LNG projects working experience during FEED or EPC phase;
• Experience working with licensors in the areas of Liquefaction, NGL recovery, gas treating, Sulfur recovery, Helium Extraction, associated utilities and Refining process;
• AP-X Liquefaction technology experience is highly desired;
• Desired experience in utility design, especially in steam, water treating, desalination and wastewater treatment.
