About PARSONS

Job Title – SENIOR ENGINEERING SPECIALIST- CIVIL Jobs in Jizan, Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities:

Provides technical guidance to personnel within the Section.

Provides technical advice to other RC and SAPL Departments.
Represents the Section at the project and inter-sectional meetings, as appropriate.
Prepares/Reviews Request for Proposal (RFP) documents with design concepts.

Provides technical assistance during pre-bid conferences, proposal evaluations, and post-award or other contract conferences.
Reviews A/E contractor design drawings, specifications, and calculations submittals and coordinates with the work of other disciplines.
Prepares written summary of review comments in Engineering Review Comments (ERC) sheets.

Reviews vendor/ shop drawings, and construction materials submittals.
Performs field inspections and provides professional field support as necessary during construction phases.
Prepares interface layouts and conflicts solutions.

Prepares / Reviews man-hour estimates for design fee proposals.
Prepares technical correspondence, reports, and studies.

Educational requirements:

A recognized university degree in Civil Engineering with Professional registration in the appropriate discipline is desirable.
Five (5) years of Experience in designing Roads, Grading and underground utility systems for the infrastructure of residential, commercial, and industrial areas.

Experience requirements:

10+ years. Design experience in general civil works is essential.

Desired Skills:

The ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English is essential.

A proven record of technical and administrative ability in design management.
Must be knowledgeable with the standards of civil work.
Conversant and has working knowledge of Industry Standard software in CE design

Qualifications:

Ability to work in a team environment with members of varying skill levels.
Highly motivated.

Learns quickly.
