Due to continued expansion Jones Engineering require a Project Engineer for a Renewable Energy Infrastructure Project in Co. Offaly. This role will provide exposure to a wide range of expertise relating to electrical engineering and the renewables and construction sectors. The successful candidate will be supported in developing their knowledge on a pathway to becoming a Chartered Engineer as their knowledge and responsibilities grow and evolve.

Role/Requirements

• The Project Engineer will be responsible for the monitoring and coordination of daily activities and ensuring compliance with the relevant specifications.
• Responsible for monitoring and coordinating daily activities of site personnel and subcontractors
• Performing quality audits on a regular basis to ensure quality is being met and specifications are adhered to
• Engaging with subcontractors on Technical queries and reporting to the Construction Manager
• Document control
• Management of site materials
• Honours Degree Qualification in relevant Engineering discipline
• Experience in HV/MV Substation projects an advantage
• Ability to work within a team and have good interpersonal skills
• Good report writing and presentation skills
• IT literate with the ability to operate MS office systems and other IT based project management software
• Willingness to travel to other sites when required
• Appetite to learn and develop in a growing industry in Ireland
