Job Title – Project Manager OKA – Civil Works (Oosterweel Project – Antwerp) Jobs in Antwerp, Belgium

Responsibilities:

As a project leader, you are responsible for the correct and timely completion of part of the Oosterweel project (OKA 250 million euros).
You are responsible for the organization, planning and coordination of a project in terms of technology, administration and budget;

You conduct negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors and maintain relationships with the client and other parties involved;
You are responsible for the control and follow-up of the execution of the works;
You ensure permanent follow-up of the site managers, intervene in the event of technical problems and make adjustments where necessary;

You organize the necessary site meetings;
You are closely involved in the implementation and control of quality systems ISO and VCA procedures (safety, quality, environment)
You evaluate and report on the progress of the works and communicate on a regular basis;

You report to the Operations Manager who has overall responsibility for the project.

Educational requirements:

You have a master’s degree as a Civil or Industrial Engineer or equivalent through experience;

Experience requirements:

You have at least 10 years of relevant work experience in the buildings;

Desired Skills:

You speak and write Dutch fluently and you have a good knowledge of English;
You work proactively and do not hesitate to address your internal and external network to innovate and develop good entrepreneurship;
You get excited about motivating and improving team members by working on-the-job with the colleagues of the team – Lead by Example;

Qualifications:

Ability to work in a team environment with members of varying skill levels.
Highly motivated.
