About Enerflex

Job Title – Quality & HSE Specialist – Water Solutions Jobs in Calgary, Canada

Responsibilities:

Project Responsibilities:

  • Review client specifications and translate to project requirements.
  • Define, coordinate ITP/quality plans that may be required for manufacturing, sourcing or customer contracts.
  • Supports engineering, quality and project managers with customer interfaces as necessary on quality related issues.
  • Attend Pre-inspection meetings and Kick-off meeting with Vendors.
  • Creates, reviews, approves inspection criteria and procedures.
  • Work with vendors to ensure quality of all sub ordered products.
  • Attend Inspections and develop Inspection reports as per project requirements.
  • Review Vendor Quality Documents.
  • Maintain a complete file of records of QA/QC for all phases of the project.
  • Interfaces with Customer and 3rd party representatives and investigates and rectifies Customer complaints with regard to quality.
  • Generate contract data packages as specified by contract requirements.
  • Maintain the Quality documentation of EWS assembled Pumps.

Quality Management System Responsibilities:

  • Develop procedures, work instructions and forms necessary to comply with the quality system.
  • Corrective/preventative actions on internal and customer related issues.
  • Lead internal/external audits, source inspections etc, as necessary in observance of the quality system requirements or in evaluation of suppliers and their products.
  • Assist in training of new procedures and document the same. Maintain quality records.
  • Analyzes reports and returned products and takes corrective measures.
  • Facilitates cross-functional failure mode root cause investigations and corrective/preventative actions.
  • Research and document quality improvements, cost-effective methods and process improvements.
  • Investigate and implement special project assignments involving productivity and quality improvements relating to specific areas.

Health and Safety Responsibilities:

  • Issue EWS HSE Monthly report.
  • Coordinate HSE inspections at EWS.
  • Provide HSE orientation to new hires.
  • Train the team on HSE Requirements and procedures.
  • Coordinate HSE requirements of Enerflex to Water division.

 

Educational requirements:

  • Graduate degree and/or demonstrated equivalent competency to perform the required duties.
  • ISO 9001 Certified Lead Auditor certification / ASQ Certification.
  • Internal and external Auditing experience.
  • Working knowledge of recognized standards and codes such as ASME Section VIII, API, ASTM, NACE ISO, CE mark.
  • Solid organization, problem solving, decision-making, judgment, leadership, multi-tasking and team-oriented skills are essential to manage multiple projects.
  • Requires technical knowledge of the basics of manufacturing, engineering and quality assurance.
  • Highly comfortable in a demanding – dynamic environment.
  • Team player – Has a strong work ethic, and “can-do” attitude.
  • Excellent communicator and outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent Time Management.

 

Experience requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Quality assurance or related activities.
