Roads Inspector – Job Description

• Responsible for organizing, implementing, conducting, coordinating, and managing the QA/QC programs per the Project Contractual requirements.
• Coordinate the document control of technical submittals, drawings, etc. with the project team and to ensure the QA/QC validation has been done, to ensure their issue, amendments, and recall of controlled documents.
• Coordinate all inspections, monitor the required tests, and record inspections and tests made per the contract plan and specifications.
• Provide technical support to the Project Manager and guidance to site staff in the submission of materials for approval, request for inspection, shop drawings, As-built drawings, O & M manuals.
• Draft / Review and approve the quality-related procedures prepared on the project to ensure compliance with the project quality program and plan.
• List of all Method Statements to be prepared/check with the construction dept for review incorporation of all MEP services as per the project requirement and submit for final approval to the Engineer incorporating the submit schedule dates.
• Prepare Method Statements ( MS ), Inspection Test Plan ( ITP ), Check List ( CL ), Risk Assessment, etc as per the project requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Manager regarding work performance and hold the authority to stop work in any area where discrepancies remain uncorrected and/or cancel the stop-work order upon satisfactory correction of noted deficiencies.

Roads Inspector – Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s / Masters Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience in infrastructure
• Exemplary critical thinking, analytical, and complex problem-solving skills
• Strong time management and other project management skills
• Dedication to learning new concepts and strategies
• Good communication skills.
• Analytical skills.
