Job Description:

• Implement & maintain the company security policy.
• Do investigation to discover the security problems, suggest & prepare the solution along with its cost.
• Regularly monitoring the system for possible security violations and vulnerabilities & correcting any detected problems.
• Review and recommend practical and effective IT controls for the physical security, backup/contingency planning, change management and disaster recovery of IT resources.
• Review and recommend necessary amendments to the Information Security Plan, Disaster Recovery Plan, Business Continuity Plan, Guidelines for Safeguarding Information, and relevant sections and material referenced in the Office of Computer and Telecommunication Services Procedures that concern IT security and controls.
• Coordinate with other divisions to check the security problems.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Research group wise and department wise security threats and suggest solution.
• Monitor system authorization rights, discover threats or breaches, and suggest solution.

Experience:

• 5 years experience in developing and administering Information technology and system security standards and procedures.
• Working knowledge of operating systems and Internet/Intranet technologies
• Experience administering rights, permissions, and ACLs

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent professional experience.
• Information Technology Security certification preferred (CISSP, CCSP, CEH … etc.)

Skills:

• Working knowledge of operating systems and Internet/Intranet technologies
• Experience administering rights, permissions, and ACLs
• Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills
• Firewalls, Data leakage prevention, Access controls.
• Host and Network-based Intrusion Detection solutions
• Excellent communications skills
• Network Security standards, to include firewalls, routers, and switches.
• ERP access controls and security standards for the protection of information.
• Multiple operating systems and best practices related to security protocols and practices.
• English: Fluent
