Senior Risk Engineering – Job Description

• Being accountable for risk management performance on the commissions.
• Overseeing the design of an effective risk management framework / strategy including continuous improvement.
• Managing clients / consultants / contractors and own project staff.
• Providing support to senior leadership teams in the administration of the risk management process at a senior project level, particularly with respect to risks to the achievement of key project objectives and escalation of risks.
• Facilitating risk management workshops and other meetings as and when required.
• Looking across the wider project and assist the project managers to recognize opportunities and mitigations to minimize risk exposure through inter package and co-operation and synergy.
• Ensuring risk mitigation action plans are developed, risk and action owners appointed and that project plans are updated accordingly and monitor implementation of the action plans developed.
