Job Title – RISK SECTION MANAGER Jobs in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities:

  • Part of your role will also involve updating the risk register to make sure the risks are up to date and that appropriate risk treatment is in place and is acted upon.
  • Providing regular reports to project and risk and value managers will also ensure that the risk statuses of the projects are monitored efficiently.
  • Supporting the development of Project Risk Management Execution Plans that are right-sized to project needs and meet existing project risk expectations/requirements.
  • Facilitate the identification and analysis of risk management on projects throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Carry out qualitative, quantitative assessments to give the best advice to project managers and sponsors on proposed risk-based contingencies.
  • Manage so that projects have a risk register, the risk data is accurate, timely and relevant and that appropriate risk responses are in place and being acted upon.
  • Provide regular reports to project managers on the risk status of projects and provide advice on the management of contingency.
  • Assists in the development of management reporting related to changes in the risk profile.
  • Can confidently explain the value and benefits of risk management to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate and capture lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle for projects and turnarounds.
  • Trains and ensures all assigned project team members are aware of their responsibilities to understand and manage the key risks within their scope.

 

Educational requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or related field)
  • Able to coach and challenge management and non-specialists on the results of risk management
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written in Arabic and English.

 

Experience requirements:

  • Min 15+ years of experience in related field.

 

Desired Skills:

  • Potential to perform in a lead capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a familiarity of industry practices and regulations are required.
  • Must also possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and be able to select and apply appropriate tools for use on project.
  • Must have experience in the GCC experience.
  • Expected to demonstrate professional levels of competence.
  • Excellent presentation, influencing and facilitation skills.
  • Must be an effective and committed team member with excellent skills in dealing with others, communicating, negotiating and persuasion.
  • Ability to generate reports and analyze data

 

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a team environment with members of varying skill levels.
  • Highly motivated.
  • Learns quickly.
