Job Title – Senior Storekeeper Jobs in All Cities , Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities:

  • Communicates with all Offshore Heads of Department and establishes the requirement for urgency for on order items. 
  • Communicates with procurement for deliveries and informs rig personnel for planning purposes. 
  • Maintain accurate stock records and ensure availability of spares. 
  • Receiving and inspection process in accordance with the company Inventory Management procedures. 
  • Initiate Purchase Requisitions for the replacement of stock whenever the stock level of any inventory item approaches the minimum quantity. 
  • Work with Offshore Heads of Departments to determine best in class stocking levels for equipment and its spares. 
  • Review all material receipts to rig and verify that all material is directed to the appropriate party and/or storerooms. Issue materials only in required quantities against work orders. 
  • Ensure equipment and spares are clearly labelled, correctly identified, and stored. 
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the Warehouse areas at all times. 
  • Maintain security of storage areas and control access to warehouses and storage locations. 
  • Ensure the distribution of third-party certification upon receipt of shipments for all applicable equipment’s and spares. 
  • Ensure proper manifesting, packing and declaration of special disposals when equipment’s or spares transported onshore. 
  • Perform and keep records of periodic cycle counts and spot checks (shelf to sheet and sheet to shelf).
  • Complete mandatory trainings for this position such as: Rig Orientation SA-HUET, H2S-SA, OGUK Medical, SPAWA, SFA/CPR and AED.

 

Educational requirements:

  • Diploma Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or Material Management.

 

Experience requirements:

  • 7 years relevant working experience.

Desired Skills:

  • Good interpersonal skills and excellent team working and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively. 
  • Must be able to Read/Write/Speak English Fluently. 
  • Bilingual with the additional ability to communicate in Arabic is preferred. 
  • Physically capable of being transported to an offshore rig by boat or helicopter

 

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a team environment with members of varying skill levels.
  • Highly motivated.
  • Learns quickly.
