Senior Structural Engineer – Job Description

• Strong knowledge of steel design and ability to provide supporting theoretical calculation
• Prepares and reviews structural engineering design, studies, drawings, and documents
• Reviews designs in terms of constructability and load out considering allocated facility
• Full structural calculation for different load cases. Static and dynamic analysis
• Steel Connection design knowledge according to industry standard codes (AISC, EC, API, etc.) for both shop and Field joints
• Acts as technical authority and represent the company
• Provides technical supports for tendering process of potential new jobs
• Technical reviews of engineering consultant output where the work is subcontracted
• Participates in design reviews and take necessary follow up actions
• Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for the engineering department/ section to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.
• Ensures that all activities are performed within the provisions of the Integrated Management System requirements
• Devises new approaches to problems, and prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts and graphs, and monitor work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices
