Structural Engineer – Job Description

• Responsible for performing and checking all engineering activities and documentation for offshore platforms structures.
• Detailed design, modelling & analysis of the fixed platform, process platform Topsides, Jacket, FPSO topside module, and subsea structures.
• Select and design the best technical solution relevant to offshore platforms.
• Follow up platform design carried out by sub-contractors.
• Coordinate design activities ensuring technical support during execution phases.
• Define tender documentation and carry out technical evaluation of tenders.
• Preparing civil/structural engineering design calculations and documents
• Ensure that the quality of design calculations and drawings produced are in accordance with the Project
• Execution Plan, applicable Project Procedures and Standards, Safety and Quality Control
• Preparing technical specifications for review and approval
• Preparing Material to take off for cost estimate

Structural Engineer – Job Requirement

• Degree in Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5+ years of experience.
• Numeracy
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and the ability to learn how to use specialist software
• Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work in a team
• The ability to negotiate
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
