Responsibilities :

Support the implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) to ensure compliance of accounting policies
Provide IFRS consultation and support within the sectors/regions of NEOM to follow standards

Assist in the development of IFRS training materials and facilitate training within the department
Keep abreast of latest development in IFRS accounting standards and its application in NEOM accounting and financial reporting
Liaise within Financial Reporting & Control department and business units within the organization regarding IFRS compliance matters

Support the audit process and resolve any IFRS compliance issues
Researching accounting issues for IFRS compliance and identifying the gaps and solutions in liaising with IFRS experts (internal and external)

Educational requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience requirements:

7-10 years of experience in engineering, including standards and guidelines development for buildings and associated infrastructure.
