Job Title – Turnaround Maintenance Scheduler Jobs in Doha, Qatar

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the development of high quality integrated and detailed Turnaround and maintenance schedules using Primavera.
  • Accountable for schedule logic, quality and integrity that is inclusive of all key stakeholders such as operations, mechanical, engineering, technical, inspection and projects.
  • Demonstrate good leadership skills in negotiating with, and holding organisation / contractors accountable for their execution performance (scope compliance, cost, timing, efficiency targets, etc.)
  • Identify and monitor all critical and sub-critical paths for the total event.
  • Track and analyse execution schedule progress, looking for any opportunities, identify problems or productivity issues and recommend corrective plan to meet schedule end dates.
  • Validate the duration of individual job packs based on schedule analysis, potential risks, and anticipated contingency.
  • Lead and co-ordinate with cross functional teams during schedule optimisation and constructability reviews.
  • Perform technical analysis to maintain schedule quality.
  • Monitor schedule performance against schedule KPI’s and metrics and take any necessary corrective action.
  • Assess work contingencies with schedule impact, lead co-ordination activity between teams should contingencies arise to maintain the Turnaround / weekly schedule.
  • Apply advanced functions of work scheduling tools (such as Primavera), including contingency and “what-if” planning.
  • Perform schedule risk analysis using three point estimate data, correctly analyse and interpret the output, communicate the results and any necessary corrective actions to site leadership teams.
  • Leadership capabilities and decision making qualities, able to communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, identify alternative solutions, as required to maintain work progress.
  • Compliance to key and functional event milestone targets.

 

Educational requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in the use of a scheduling tool (e.g Primavera).
  • Previous Turnaround / Project / Maintenance scheduling experience.
  • Proven experience in oil and gas and/or manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with reading and interpreting technical documents (e.g. Isometric drawings, P&ID’s, engineering specifications).
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

 

Experience requirements:

  • Experience in a turnaround planning / execution role
  • Demonstrated experience of advanced scheduling / levelling techniques
  • Deltek Acumen, Team Member and Power BI knowledge would be advantageous
  • Previous experience of SAP would be advantageous
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Maintenance trade skill background
  • Primavera Training
