2. Public Investment Fund Program

7. Quality of life program

The “Quality of Life” program is one of the most distinguished programs to achieve Vision 2030, and was launched in 2018; To improve the quality of life for residents and visitors of the Kingdom; This is done by building and developing the necessary environment to create more vibrant options that enhance positive lifestyles and increase the interaction of citizens and residents with the community.

The program was able to open new horizons for the sectors of quality of life, which directly affect citizens, such as: sports, culture, heritage, arts, entertainment, recreation and the like; It worked on diversifying entertainment opportunities, such as re-launching the cinema sector, organizing local and international entertainment, sports and cultural events, such as hosting the Dakar International Rally, and opening a number of museums, cultural exhibitions and music festivals.

The program invested in developing human cadres in various sectors of quality of life, and launched several academies, institutes and programs; Which is concerned with developing talents such as the Film Makers Development Program, the Mahd Sports Academy, and providing scholarships for male and female students to study at international institutes to study culinary arts.

8. National Transformation Program

The program has achieved many important achievements in developing government systems and improving services provided to citizens, such as: developing the justice system, upgrading health care, improving the urban landscape, developing the Kingdom’s infrastructure, such as constructing salt water desalination plants, developing its integrated network, facilitating doing business, and expanding in Digital transformation and technical solutions, in addition to regulating the labor market, empowering women and increasing their participation in the workforce, as well as developing the non-profit sector and developing the tourism sector.

9. Personalization program

The Privatization Program – one of the Vision 2030 realization programs – was launched in 2018; In order to work on identifying government assets and services that can be privatized in a number of sectors, developing the privatization system and mechanisms, and defining partnership frameworks between the public and private sectors to enhance the quality and efficiency of public services, and support the contribution to economic development.

It is planned to launch the health sector transformation program – one of the programs to achieve Vision 2030 – during the current year; This is to ensure the continued development of health care services in the Kingdom and to focus efforts in this important sector after the National Transformation Program achieved strategic achievements and objectives developed from the health sector to face challenges related to health services; By raising their quality and efficiency, and raising levels of protection against health risks.

In light of the development of global health systems, the health transformation program will work to enable a comprehensive transformation in the sector and restructure it to be a comprehensive, effective and integrated health system.

11. Financial Sector Development Program

The Financial Sector Development Program was launched in 2018; With the aim of enabling financial institutions to support the growth of the private sector, develop an advanced financial market, in addition to promoting and enabling financial planning.

The program, like other programs to achieve Vision 2030, achieved great success during the previous phase, including the joining of the Saudi Stock Exchange “Tadawul” to the global indices “FTSE” and “MSCI”; What contributed to the success of the initial public offering of Saudi Aramco shares in 2019, and the growth of the Saudi market to be one of the top 10 markets in the world.

The program worked to increase support in the field of financial technology for new and emerging companies, and led many efforts that had a tangible impact on citizens, such as moving towards a cashless society, and launching the instant payments system, which exceeded its goals in less than 12 months.

12. National Industrial Development and Logistics Program

The National Industrial Development and Logistics Program was launched in early 2019; The leadership believes in the importance and integration of the four program sectors (national industries, logistics services, mining sectors, and energy sectors); To achieve added value, maximize and diversify the economic impact, and create an attractive investment environment.

The program focuses on four sectors represented in industry, energy, mining and logistics. It also pays attention to the axes of local content and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, as they are one of the most important enablers of the main sectors included in the program and the factors supporting them to reach their goals and desired impact.

The National Industry and Logistics Program has achieved a number of diverse achievements; Including: the launch of the geological survey program, in addition to the remarkable progress in the maritime navigation network connectivity indicator with global shipping lines, the launch of the first locally manufactured fast interceptor boat, the establishment of renewable energy plants, an accelerated increase in investment in the industrial sector, support for the localization of the military industries sector, and the launch of a program Made in Saudi Arabia.
