Job Title – Contracts Manager Jobs in Sydney NSW, Australia

Responsibilities:

As a result of our continued success and growth, there is a rare opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join the Watpac Construction team. As the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the management and performance of all administrative functions and maximising the profitability of the project. Additional responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Assist in the negotiations of head contract conditions.

Oversee the timely issue of cost reports, current position of subcontractors, subcontract agreements, and insurance policies.
Oversee subcontract negotiations, letting values and budget conformance for each subcontract.

Educational requirements:

The successful candidate will be experienced in all aspects of Contracts Administration, and ideally have a tertiary background in Quantity Surveying, Construction/Project Management, or a related discipline. You will also possess excellent commercial awareness with strong relationship building, influencing, and negotiating skills. It is important you have a proven track record in delivering results in a high pressured environment.

Experience requirements:

Strong background in Contract management within Construction
4 to 6 years of relevant work experience
