Contracts Administrator – Job Description

• to oversee and control Contract Administration of the Projects by coordinating with the Estimation Department (Pre-Contract phase) and coordinating with the Procurement / Projects Department (Post Contract phase).
• to oversee and coordinate all contractual, internal and external affairs matters including investigations, Variations, Contractor’s Claims, Subcontractor’s Claims, compliance and contract matters with a view to keep the Company from any disputes, controversies and/or issues; and
• to provide a comprehensive contractual support to every Project of the Company; and
• to provide the Company’s management with a wide-ranging understanding of possible risks and liabilities to ensure a good assessment of pricing commercial offers so that costs are being controlled (Pre-Contract phase), and to prepare Project Team in managing the said risks and liabilities (Post Contract Phase); and
• to set forth the proper procedures and policies in connection with the preparation, review, drafting, approval and execution of Contracts as well as the timeframe within which such Contracts are being reviewed and/or drafted until executed; and
• to provide a greater centralization and efficiencies of Contracts Administration operations; and
• to assist every project and department of the Company in the preparation of business and/or contractual letters/correspondences which are essential to effectuate and strengthen such Project’s/ Department’s rights and entitlements under a Contract.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Engineering Graduate (B.S. Civil Engineering)
• Minimum 10years’ work experience in Tendering or Estimation Department.
• Ability to communicates fluently in English
• Should be computer literate & familiar with M.S. Package.
• Will possess excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• Familiar with international codes i.e. ASME standards / British standards.
• Should be a team player with a flexible approach
• Will have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
