Contracts Manager – Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, draft, review, evaluate and amend contract terms and conditions
  • Review, evaluate, and markup contract documents, including legal and/or technical schedules and statements of works, etc.
  • Identify and document contract and legal issues and risks, including, if necessary, author risk reports for procuring management approval
  • Ensure contract documents have been executed properly and consistently with the organization’s policies
  • Ensure compliance to contract policies, processes, and procedures and where necessary advise contract management and other Department personnel of such policies, processes, and procedures
  • Review and evaluate customer requests for changes in or revisions of contracts
  • Maintain and update Contracts and Legal worklists
  • Ability to provide a comprehensive legal position on all areas of company business.
  • Mastering UAE applicable laws and regulations
  • Ability to negotiate and finalize deals with clients
