Job – CONTROL AND SCHEDULE ENGINEER
Job Description & Qualifications :
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Analyze projects status and prepares reports highlighting all the potential risks and issues facing the project and suitable solutions.
- Proper record keeping of all project databases and updates regularly.
- Prepare presentations, weekly and monthly reports on project status to the project manager and senior management of the client.
- Conduct a continuous audit on all the projects to ensure quality procedures are implemented and recorded, meanwhile, update and monitor the projects’ actions log.
- Review Contractors Schedules using P6 as per client’s PMM, Contractors Cash flow.
- Organize and lead the meetings with the consultant and contractors to discuss the issue affecting the progress of the projects.
- Assist in the preparation and review of the requested budget for future projects.
- Participate as one of the trainers in the training sessions for the client’s project managers, engineers, consultants, and contractors related to the implementation of the company’s project management manual “PMM”.
- Participate in the training sessions for the client’s project managers, engineers, consultants, and contractors related to the implementation of professional management tools and procedures.
- Conduct a continuous audit on all the projects to ensure quality procedures are implemented and recorded. Meanwhile, prepare detailed visit reports.
- Periodic evaluation for the contractors, consultants, and project management staff.
- Prepare Comprehensive risk register of region projects.
- Advise the client on any issues such as contractor’s claims, likely to affect the financial resources or the scope of work.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
- University degree in civil engineering or other equivalent engineering disciplines.
- Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in the management, supervision, planning of water, and wastewater projects.
- Fluency in both written and spoken Arabic and English. If he cannot communicate in Arabic, then he should have sufficient experience working in Saudi Arabia as a consultant for a governmental Department.
- Preferably, PMP qualified.
- Excellent presentation and report writing skills.
