About Crescent Petroleum

Job Title – Crisis Management & Emergency Response Coordinator in United Arab Emirates

Responsibilities:

Trains On scene commanders for all emergencies within the current and future areas of Khor Mor operations.
Liaises directly with the HSE Team in the coordination and development of the company’s emergency response plans and procedures.
Trains the ERT on emergency rescue of personnel trapped or injured in a hazardous environment.

Trains the ERT in fire and rescue techniques including the use and care of SCBA.
Provides fire and safety advice to management and workforce when required.
Provides Spill response, Confined Space Entry, vehicle accident response, HAZMAT response, and fire response training to the ERT and other key personnel as required.

Updates Crisis Management, Incident Management and Emergency Response plans and documents as required.
Prepare specifics zone response plans for the new KM250 and other future facilities.
Coaches the IMT and IST personnel on their roles and provides constructive feedback for improvement.

Creates and runs regular monthly exercises to practice the coordination of the IMT and ERT.

Educational requirements:

Certifications for training in Confined Spaces, Firefighting equipment, SCBA, and HAZMAT response.

Experience requirements:

Minimum of 15 years’ experience involved in Emergency Response and Fire Fighting, Rescue and Support activities, Fire Protection, Fire Prevention, and spill response.
5 years’ experience as a Fire Trainer preferred.

Desired Skills:

Work with Local Authorities and neighboring assets to improve Mutual Aid arrangements.
Support the enforcement of site rules and regulations
Weekly and Monthly reports to the HSE Manager regarding environmental activity highlights

Other HSE-related duties and tasks at the discretion of the line manager.
Provides coaching to the Crisis Management Team (CMT), based in Sharjah.
Create and runs annual exercises for the CMT in coordination with the IST and IMT

Qualifications:

Ability to work in a team environment with members of varying skill levels.
Highly motivated.
Learns quickly.
