Job Title – Customs Brokerage Agent Jobs in Dublin, Ireland

Responsibilities:

Completion of customs declarations for multimodal transport (Road, Air and Ocean Freight).
Processing customs information data for goods travelling between UK, Ireland, Europe, and RoW.

Support internal freight departments to meet the customs clearance needs of their customers.
Develop relationships with new and existing customers looking to use our brokerage service.
Gathering information from customers to ensure adequate and accurate information received to process customs declarations compliantly.

Interact with Suppliers, Freight Forwarders, and Distributors to provide relevant documentation and information.
Escalating problems to relevant stakeholders where data missing or incorrect.
Generate customs paperwork and reports.

Liaising with relevant regulatory authorities as the need arises.
Work with other customs teams to support day to day operation.
General computer and office duties.

Any further ad-hoc duties as requested

Educational requirements:

Methodical with an excellent attention to detail.

Proactive communicator in the use of phone and email.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Proactive and responsible, taking personal ownership of role.

Fluent English both written and spoken essential.
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
Up-to-date Customs knowledge in Ireland, with UK knowledge an advantage.

Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel

Experience requirements:

Minimum 3 year Customs Clearance experience.

Experience of customer systems; TARIC, AIS, AEP, NCTS, CDS, CHIEF, GVMS, PBN etc.
