Job Title – Dental Assistant/ Technician – (22000011) Jobs in Al-Khuzama – Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the construction of prosthetic appliances to do chrome cobalt and metal coping.
Provides technical expertise to procedure dental laboratory appliances as prescribed by general and specialty dentists.
Responsible for the level of dental appliances like full and partial denture crowns and bridges.

Duplicate working study casts to do metal crown casting, polishing, fitting, and setting artificial teeth.
Assumes responsibility for work director when assigned to ensure the operation of the laboratory in the clinical standard.
Consults with clinicians to ensure accurate interpretation of their work prescription.

Assists in developmental self-study activities to prepare technicians for examinations and advancement.
Responsible for all laboratory equipment.
Supervises all work done in the dental laboratories.

Cooperates with department colleagues and peers so as to achieve the hospital vision towards excellence in treating patients.
Renders patient health teachings on proper care of artificial dentures, and curative and preventive measures to avoid damaging gums while prosthetics are in place.
Participates in the T.Q.M. programs in collaboration with T.Q.M. Department. Must be an active member of hospital-wide committees like the Code Blue Committee in a position designated or elected by committee members.

Provides and attends to continuing education, training, and demonstration by sharing new procedures and techniques with colleagues, nurses, and technicians assigned within the department in collaboration with Academic Affairs and Research Center
Attends to work and on-call schedules on time and performs duties completely before ending the shift.
Assists colleagues in the Department as required like taking care of patients as requested to ease loads during peak time under the supervision of senior staff.

Performs other duties necessary to enhance general knowledge and expertise.
Abide by communication and service standards at all times.
Attend training and coaching sessions for communication and service standards.

Service recovery: offer options and solutions to meet and exceed patient’s expectations. Retaining patients and gaining their loyalty is a key part of your role.
Work on improving patient satisfaction in your area.

Educational requirements:

Graduate of General dental technician or equivalent.

Experience requirements:

Minimum 1 year in a related field after qualification

Desired Skills:

A dental technician should be trained to prepare prostheses for dental patients. Excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in English and Spoken Arabic is desirable.

Qualifications:

Ability to work in a team environment with members of varying skill levels.
Highly motivated.
Learns quickly.
