Job Title – HSE Manager Jobs in Ras Laffan, Qatar

Responsibilities:

OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 Lead Auditor.
TapRoot® Advanced Root Cause Analysis Team Leader (or equivalent RCA tool).

Grad IOSH or CMIOSH.
First aid / Fire warden certification.
Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) and Breathing Apparatus training

Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (mandatory for offshore) / T-BOSIET

Educational requirements:

Safety, Health and Environment related NVQ Level 5, Diploma or Post-Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, or higher (BSc, PgCert, PgDip, MSc).

NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC).

Experience requirements:

A minimum of 15 years of relevant managerial working experience in Safety, Health and Environment.

A minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience in marine works project, in an oil & gas regulated environment. Project execution experience in large-scale project is required.
Experience managing multicultural and multidisciplinary HSE teams.
Experience in barges / vessels work environment.

Experience in heavy/critical lifting operations (marine environment included).

Desired Skills:

Excellent organization and communication skills.
Ability to maintain effective work relationships and you are a good team-player.

Knowledge in diving operations.
Completely aware/familiarized with emergency response procedure and fire prevention controls.
Awareness for COSHH and environmental compliance.

Fluent in written and spoken English, any additional language is an advantage.
Familiarized with Permit to Work system in greenfield and brownfield work environment.

Qualifications:

Ability to work in a team environment with members of varying skill levels.
Highly motivated.
Learns quickly.
