Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Guiding site management in the effective implementation of the HSE plan.
Ø Participate in monitoring the HSE activities including auditing, sampling and inspection.
Ø Arranging & participating the Monthly HSE-Meetings at site management level.
Ø Addressing weekly HSE-Meetings for all employees.
Ø To be responsible for the training of new hires and all levels of personnel on HSE matters, with a specific attention to
particularly hazardous tasks and Conducting site inspections.
Ø Take action & report immediately in case of dangerous actions, observations or situations to the Project HSE
Engineer.
Ø To participate and support the Tool box meetings held by Foremen.
Ø To ensure on daily basis the correct use of PPE by all the personals.
Ø Participating in HSE-Audits.
Ø Keeping site management informed of the latest HSE requirement.
Ø Maintaining liaison with CONTRACTOR Safety department.
Ø Maintaining Safety Statistics.
Ø Assisting management in accident investigations.
Ø Arranging for CONTRACTOR/ COMPANY approved Training Institute and In-House training program for employees.
Ø To ensure that Fire Fighting and Safety equipment is regularly inspected and serviced.
Ø Monitoring waste disposal is in accordance with the waste management requirement.
Ø Conducting & guiding all the emergency exercises.
Ø Keeping monthly records of all activities required to be carried out under the HSE Plan.
Ø Submitting Monthly Records of HSE Plan Activities to the Project HSE Engineer at Site.
Ø Monitoring Road safety and carrying out Spot checks on Road Safety
Ø Monitoring RAG reports and giving coaching to the Drivers accordingly
Shall be accountable for:
Ø Fulfill the requirement of the HSE policy and contract HSE plan in the advisory capacity.
Ø Detect deficiencies and weakness in the HSE management of contract promptly and advise/ correct the project
people regarding deficiencies and provide support to the project team to improve the performance in order to
achieve the set objectives and target

Must be graduate in B.Sc/B.E/B.Tech in any Discipline
Must be certified by NEBOSH
International Diploma in Health & Safety (Level-6) is an advantage
Diploma in Fire & Safety is an advantage
Must be completed First Aid training
H2S, Confined Space, PTW, IOSH, OSHAS, Lead Auditor (9001,14001,18001) are an advantage
Minimum experience of 1-3 years in the similar field
Field experience of in Oil & Gas is mandatory
Must be fluent in English language
