Role Purpose:

• The Senior Digital Enterprise Architect will play a critical role in assessment and support delivery of digital capabilities within the Bank.
• This Digital Solution Architect possesses vast experience in the Banking and Financial Services Industry, responsible for digital solutions and has a background that illustrates extensive capabilities in designing solutions for online customer Banking channels.
• This key member of the team provides thought leadership on digital business capabilities and advises on the modernization of underlying IT systems to effectively support the organization’s Digital Transformation Strategy.
• Develops and maintains current and target state Enterprise Architecture Blueprints for Digital Solutions/Applications across Business, Data and Application (BDA) Architecture domains.
• Initiates and conducts Architecture reviews for Digital Solutions alongside various stakeholders e.g., Digital Stream Leads, Application Stream Leads, Application Owners, and other IT teams.

Key Accountabilities of the role:

1.Understand Bank’s Digital Business Architecture: Understand the priorities of the Business for Digital Transformation and expectations from IT to support them. Support the Enterprise Architecture function to collect, agree and document digital business capabilities as part of the overall capabilities map.

2.Strategy & Business: Effective collaboration with Domain Architects/SMEs from different business divisions and various IT teams; ensure that all EA artifacts and activities align with the business goals and objective.

3.Architecture Repository: Contribute, review, and update the Enterprise Architecture repository at Business, Data and Application levels for Digital capabilities and transformation projects.

4.Digital Transformation Projects: Gain an in-depth understanding of the Bank’s Digital Transformation Strategy and participates in the planning and execution of the resulting IT initiatives. Create the High-Level Design (HLD) for such initiatives and provide Architecture/Technology leadership, specifically in the initial stages. Ensure that the proposed solution and its implementation are in line with the Bank’s long-term technology roadmap and the IT Strategy.

5.Advisory & Consulting: Offer consulting/advisory services to Digital project teams on impacts to various Architecture domains (BDA), ensure conformance to enterprise model & standards and recommend best solution in line with ADIB Strategy

6.Impact Analysis: Articulate the impact of Digital Transformation Initiatives on business and IT. Ability to communicate with business and IT personnel at the appropriate level of detail is paramount. Ensure that the Enterprise Architecture repository is kept up to date with all information collected and analyzed in this process.

7.Change Governance: Review all design documents delivered by project team(s) as part of project execution and ensure adherence to architecture proposed in HLD. Analyze, communicate, and agree on any changes in HLD from start to finish for Digital projects.

8.Regulatory & Business Conduct: Display exemplary conduct and live by ADIB Values and Code of Ethics. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations and guidelines and Sharia principles.
