About ARCHIRODON

Job – Mechanical Cost Estimation Engineer

Job Description:

Conduct site surveys and visits to determine scope of work for required activities and provide cost estimate for the approved scope of work.
Preparation of coordination/shop and as-built drawings.

Design of temporary works.
Evaluation of technical submittals for project materials procured by site team.
Assist the Construction Manager and the Technical Office Manager to establish the construction methodology.

Support the Construction team in the preparation of construction documentation such as method statements, lifting plans, procedures, etc.
Support the design and implementation monitoring for temporary works and tools towards the execution of construction works.
Check technical details and drawings to ensure correct implementation in the field.

Assist at the design coordination.
Bar Bending Schedules.
Ensures implementation of Company’s IMS and approved templates to the extent to his activities.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 7 years of experience in the Construction industry
Experience in cost estimation and technical evaluation studies for different mechanical systems (HVAC, Fire Fighting & Plumbing) is a MUST. Preferably in US Army Corps of Engineers projects

Familiar with Applied American Standards & Codes (ASHREA / SMACNA / NEC / IEEE / NFPA / ASME / API) to projects.
Experience with either Contractors or Consultants
Strong knowledge in Microsoft office applications and AutoCAD

Very good communication in English
Strong knowledge and awareness with the local market.
Team worker, cope with pressure, to-do mindset.
