Job description / Role

• Prepares construction budget by studying plans; updating specifications; identifying and projecting costs for each elevation.
• Obtains bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying qualified subcontractors; negotiating price.
• Prepares draft tender documents to ensure all systems and components of the tender are included.
• Interprets and reviews system drawings to identify any difference to tender requirements and raise queries against the specification.
• Reviews the design outputs for compliance with the contractual requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering
• At least 5 years of UAE experience as an Estimation Engineer
• Must have steel fabrication and erection industry experience
• Skilled in tender documentation management, in-house and client interfacing, and team player
• Excellent pricing and market knowledge is required
