Mechanical Engineer, Remote Job, Sultanate of Oman

Job Description

This is a remote position.
- Supervising the discipline construction and commissioning activities in a safe manner, within budget, on time and in accordance with applicable Company procedures and technical specifications.
- To review the scope of construction works and identify for any anomalies prior and during construction.
- Responsible for the discipline engineering activities and provide technical inputs to the design, engineering, fabrication and installation
- Single point technical responsibility and accountability for all assigned projects, within piping/ engineering area of authority.
- Experienced in the implementation of industry best practices and Company’s systems, processes, and standards.
- Responsible and accountable for technical integrity and safety of designs.
- Assess suitability of requested deviations from Company and international Standards and Codes of Practice.
- To monitor the HSE performance of all construction contractors in the area (against the departmental, project or Contract HSE plan) and to ensure that all work Sites under his control are operating in a safe manner.
- Ensure that scheduled requirement is always met and ensure quality deliverable. Promote a plan – execute – measure – feedback work loop method in construction activities.
