Job Title – Operational Forecast & Capacity Planning Manager Jobs in Doha, Qatar

Responsibilities:

Provide the traffic demand analysis required for operational and non-operational stakeholders to conduct budgeting, manpower and operational exercises.
Provide analysis on current, seasonal and ad-hoc resource demand against available capacities.

Responsible to develop and manage models relevant to traffic forecasting and to effectively interpret results relevant to the impacted capacity, or airport sub-systems.
Develops and manages periodic and short-term passenger and aviation operations forecast to support
MATAR’s budgetary planning activities and operations manpower planning.

Develops and maintains statistical models to analyses operational metrics and performance. in support of the development of operations plans.
Manages and develops compelling business cases for presentation to internal or external stakeholders.
Manages and develops management and executive reports to support operational capacity management and traffic trend identification.

Leads analytical interactions within Airport Operations, Finance, Commercial to support budgetary exercises and performance reviews.
Performs other duties as requested by the Management
Manage business information systems relevant to the collection of raw information and development of forecasts.

Leads and participates in cross departmental research and analytics projects for MATAR as required.
Responsible to ensure that employees at all levels understand work health and safety requirements and expectations through provision of relevant QR Group induction, information, instruction, training and supervision.
Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, security, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the operation to assure employee safety, security, legislative compliance and delivery of high-quality service with a responsible environmental attitude.

Ensure that all managers and supervisors understand work health and safety requirements and expectations to the extent that they can pass on relevant information, identify training needs and provide appropriate supervision in their workplace.
Take a direct and personal interest in reported injuries, incidents, near misses and hazards to ensure that appropriate reporting, investigation and response is being achieved.

Educational requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 6 years of job-related experience
High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 7 years of job-related experience

Experience requirements:

Experience in management consultancy or operational positions.
Previous experience in project management, including cross-functional teams.
Previous exposure to transformation projects, change management and application of technology in business.

10 to 12 years of experience in management consultancy or operational positions with international exposure is preferred.
