Job – Parts Advisor – PA/UCA/001

Job Description :

1. Parts Sales

· Carry out the sales and promotion of Parts, sold by the Division, to the Customers in order to meet or exceed the Sales Target / Objectives of the Department / Division.

· Welcome the customers understand and listen carefully to their request.

· Issue the correct parts with the help of EPC (electronic parts catalogue).

· Update information on supersession and provides customers with the correct advice.

· Update technical information.

· Attend to telephone enquiries and orders of spare parts.

· Advice customers on substitution or modification of the parts when identical replacements are not available.

· Promote accessory sales.

· Provide proper technical information of the parts to the customer if required.

· Determine replacement parts required according to inspections of old parts, customer requests or customers’ descriptions of malfunctions.

2. Showcasing

· Take part in the preparation and maintaining of the Parts showcase and promotional materials to attract customers.

· Ensure to update the display and showcases with new accessories and promotional materials to attract customers.

· Check and maintain the broachers and catalogues level in the parts reception area.

· Examine returned parts for defects and exchange defective parts or refund money.

3. Business Support

· Provide Business Support to the Parts Departments to facilitate in the Division’s meeting of its targets / objectives.

· Inform the Parts Manager about the competition and any other customers’ feedback and concerns.

· Keep records of lost sales and report to the Parts Manager.

· Prepare parts estimates for parts requirement and inform Parts Manager about not available parts.

4. Training and Standards

· Ensure to follow proper safety standards and dealer standards.

· Complete the all requirement of manufacturer curriculum programs and certify.

5. Ad Hoc Activities

· Carry out other tasks and activities as and when requested by Management, within the context of the Division’s scope and requirements.

· Carry out instructions or request on time and within the satisfaction of the requestor.

· Provide assistance to teammates in case of problems without sacrificing their own work.

· Carry out other tasks and assignments, besides the roles and responsibilities defined above, as assigned by the Division Management.

Job Qualifications:

PERSON SPECIFICATION : (What are the qualifications the job holder must have in order to be effective when delivering the requirements of the job)

EDUCATION :

(Including Certifications and Trainings if required)

· College Graduate

· Training & Certificates – dealer standards.

EXPERIENCE :

· 5 years of experience in Automobile field

COMPETENCIES: (Knowledge, specific job skills, computer literacy, language, communication skills, behavioral attributes and other required qualifications)

· Knowledge of Automotive parts.

· Technical knowledge.

· Able to maintain good relationship with staff.

· Good Communication Skills in English and Arabic.

· Customer Service Skills.

· Results Oriented and having a good attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and in a group.
