Principal Environmental Consultant Job description

• Project manage the delivery of land assessments and environmental monitoring projects
• Recruit and line manage a team of environmental consultants
• Undertake business development activities and prepare tender documents
• Ensure that new and existing business is maintained through client liaison
• Attend monthly project and workload review meetings

Requirements

• Relevant Science or Engineering degree
• Membership/Chartered Status with a relevant professional body/institute
• At least five years relevant experience in Environmental Consultancy
• Previous experience working in GCC region
• Have a good working knowledge and experience of implementing relevant GCC and International legislation relating to environmental compliance and management of contaminated land
• Ambitious and a drive to succeed
• Strong organizational skills
• Be a strong team player, but it is essential that the candidate is self-motivated
• Must be flexible to travel
• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to engage with people at all levels
