Job – Privacy Officer

Job Description & Qualifications :

Due to continued expansion, Jones Engineering require a Privacy Officer based in our Head Office 83 Pembroke Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.

Role/Requirements
•   Minimum 3 years market experience, public or private sector considered
•   CIPP/E qualification or studying towards same desirable
•   Inform and advise management of their obligations under data protection law
•   Monitor compliance across the organisation
•   Act as a point of contact for requests regarding the processing of personal information
•   Strong attention to detail essential
•   Familiarity with data protection requirements
•   Familiarity with HR/Employment law requirements – desirable but not essential
•   Familiarity with DPC and WPC websites
•   Full drivers’ licence
•   May suit a qualified Solicitor/Barrister or other compliance officer with prior project management experience
•   Full-time or Part-time position available
