Job Title – Project Engineer – Integrated Turnkey Jobs in Houston – Texas, USA
Responsibilities:
• Develop RFQ packages for securing quotes for equipment, materials, and services
Interface with the Enerflex Engineered Systems Team, the Balance of Plant Engineering sub-contractor, and our Clients:
• Ensure approved scope changes are documented and implemented
Lead internal/external design activities and technical decisions to support the project.
• Generate the Balance of plant Bill of Material for instrumentation, valves, and specialty items
Lead the Quality Assurance program for the project
• Participate in site PSSR process, including walk downs of facility to ensure PSSR requirements are met ahead of the PSSR meeting
Own the planning of all engineering activities
• Ensure on time delivery of engineering deliverables and prompt resolution to technical queries
Support and interface with other company functions
Educational requirements:

BS Engineering or Engineering Technology degree.

Professional Engineer (PE) License or licensure eligible preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Working knowledge of gas compression and oil & gas processing equipment.

Self-starter with the ability to successfully perform with limited supervision.

Versatile team building skills and ability to coordinate multifunctional teams.

Strong computer skills, proficient with Microsoft office suite of programs.

Strong design experience as well as a thorough knowledge of industry codes, standards, and regulatory safety standards.

Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work closely in a team environment with all internal and external stakeholders.

Capable and comfortable communicating with customers, contractors, and management teams.

Understand the relationship and able to manage the technical interfaces between multi-discipline deliverable packages – including procurement and construction activities.

Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

EPC Project experience along with exposure to fabrication facilities and field construction required.

Entrepreneurial attitude, aptitude for innovation and long-term career interests.
Experience requirements:
- 3+ years of engineering, design, and construction experience.
