QA / QC Manager – Job Description

• Reports to Construction Director maintains the operational link with the Construction Director and liaises with the Consultant/Client Representative on quality matters. He directs the activities of the project quality organization.
• His primary functions are to define the project quality system, ensure the performance of required inspection and testing, evaluate and audit the effectiveness and verify compliance of work output with, or identify departures from, contractual requirements.
• His responsibilities include but, not limited to;
  • Verify and schedule audits for the quality system.
  • Reviewing QA/QC documentation for engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning scope of work.
  • Evaluating the suppliers/subcontractors quality management system and conducting periodic audit with the help of auditors.
  • Evaluating the process improvements required and where necessary, recommending corrective action.
  • Monitoring the activities relating to the preparation and the collection of the as built dossier.
  • Liaising with the Consultant/Representatives Quality Organization
  • Trending the Monitoring and reporting of nonconformities and carrying out Root Cause Analysis for the nonconformities found during construction and material/equipment inspection.
  • Trending the Monitoring and reporting of quality system deficiencies and corrective actions.
  • Ensuring training, where necessary, of the project personnel to ensure the understanding of the quality management system.
  • Formally reporting to Construction Director on all matters concerning Quality.
  • Coordinating and supervising activities related to the collation of the Final Handover Document

QA / QC Manager – Job Requirement

• Minimum 12 years of experience in interior fit-outs
• Bachelor in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Commercially astute, numerate, risk-averse & able to accurately forecast project requirements.
• Manage and produce accurate formal reports in accordance with business requirements
• Multi-tasking, self-motivated, energetic team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
• Residing in Qatar.
