Job Title – Senior Civil Engineer Jobs in NEOM City, Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities:

Develop a Value Proposition for prospective tenants and partners representing and involved in the development of key NEOM Sectors, and develop and implement a Go-to-Market strategy and approach to attract tenants and partners to the OXAGON Innovation Ecosystem

Engage with key NEOM Sectors, align strategies and priorities, develop a joint develop roadmap, and ensure a presence of the key Neom Sectors in OXAGON R&I District and Campus, and combining efforts in bringing the right tenants and partners addressing the priorities of the key NEOM Sectors
Oversight for Designer/Signature type Electrical Buildings, such as Electrical substations, office buildings, control rooms and warehouses, in areas where high aesthetics are important.
Knowledge and experience in providing expert civil/structural engineering assessment that would include the beautification aspects for under-ground and above ground Medium to High Voltage Substations (33kV to 380kV).

Support grid (substation, transmission, and distribution infrastructure) projects throughout its lifecycle from conceptual stage to completion.
Provide review and assessment of designs and implementation of NEOM’s power grid infrastructure strategic objectives and goals by implementing near, medium- and long-term solutions that will satisfy various criteria from multiple stakeholders.
Provide expert evaluation on design calculations, drawings and verification studies submitted by design consultants.

Provide review feedback in time and proactively engage with both internal and external stakeholders for resolution of review feedback.
Proactive in practicing NEOM culture of safety and QA/QC is adhered to throughout all projects’ lifecycles.
Provide expert assessment in the preparation of project estimates, budget, schedules, and execution plans related to civil/structural engineering works.

Develop and implement standards, guidelines, and best practices in civil/structural engineering works to ensure comprehensive delivery of expert services, systems, and outcomes.
Carry out site reviews. Including checks on quality, against specifications, health and safety, and environmental considerations.
Willingness to mentor younger and less experienced team members.

Educational requirements:

Bachelors in Engineering, Licensed Professional Engineer from a country of origin, and the ability to get registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers.

Experience requirements:

Experience in management consulting is desirable
Certification in Finance is desirable

5+ years of experience in business development and innovation management
5+ years of project management experience, business analysis, and business strategies

Experience with some of the key NEOM Sectors (Energy, Water, Food, Mobility, Wellness, well-being, Biotech, Tech, and Digital, Education) as well as Supply Chain and Logistics, Manufacturing, and Operations
Experience with valuation, scouting, and screening of businesses
Experience in developing business cases and financial models
Experience in working with different markets and cultures (preferably MENA, ASIA, USA)

Desired Skills:

Solid verbal and written communication skills in English.
The ability to communicate in Arabic is a plus.

Thorough understanding of design codes and agency standards pertinent to Power Grid infrastructures.
Substantial work experience on large-scale multistakeholder multidisciplinary projects, covering conceptual design to completion of construction.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in using various typical civil/structural engineering, computer-aided tools CSI series software (SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE), STAAD, ANSYS, RISA, and PLS series software (PLS CADD, TOWER, PLS Pole).
