Job – Tunnel Engineer

Job Description:

Employment: Full Time
• Managing the construction of different parts of the project, especially those related with the blast, drilling and grouting activities, supervising crew members, preparing estimates for time and material, completing quality assurance, observing health and safety standards, and compiling reports for different stakeholders.
• Organizing materials and ensuring sites are safe and clean.
• Preparing cost estimates and ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available.
• Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on constructability of the project.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment as required.
• Authorizing technical drawings and engineering plans.
• Preparation of Method of Statements and revision of shop drawings.
• Drawing up work schedules and communicating any adjustments to crew members and clients.
• Gathering data, compiling reports and delivering presentations to relevant stakeholders

Job Requirement:

• Candidates should have a degree in civil engineering or geotechnical engineering or a similar subject and should have a proven background of working as a tunnel engineer in the middle east on major construction projects.
