Job Title – Shop Service Technician Trainee – Screw Compressor Jobs in Houston – Texas, USA

Responsibilities:

Represents the Company in a professional manner at all times while providing outstanding customer service that aligns with Enerflex visions and values.
Responsible for performing work on rotary screw compression equipment.
Becoming familiar with standard operating procedures relative to compressor maintenance and repair.

Gaining proficiency to accurately and efficiently diagnose mechanical problems.
Assist in the overhaul of compressors.
Assist in disassembling rotary screw compressor parts and equipment.

Cleans compressor parts and equipment.
Assist in reassembling parts.
Adheres to all Company and government safety regulations.

Other duties assigned by manager.

Educational requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or vocational/technical aptitude or interest.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and post offer physical testing.

The candidate must have a valid motor vehicle driver’s license.
Must have basic mechanical aptitude such as basic automotive, industrial maintenance, etc.
Must be able to demonstrate an ability to learn in both a hands-on and classroom setting.

Proficiency with a computer and common applicable functions/programs is preferred.
