Job – SITE WELFARE MANAGER

Job Description & Qualifications  :

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the welfare and wellbeing strategy and vision that is consistent with the program HS&W strategy and vision.
  • Develop and implement program the welfare and wellbeing program.
  • Develop innovative welfare and wellbeing practices, while implementing established policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Support and assist the Wellbeing Manager and Medical & Emergency Manager to ensure that the service provided reflects the outcomes, aspiration, using a risk enablement approach with the program.
  • Ensure excellence in innovative and creative practice to ensure that the things that are important to the people we work for are achieved.
  • Ensure that the people we work for and staff co-design and create outcome-based services to improve health wellbeing and develop resilience.
  • Promote risk enablement culture, supporting and developing participation co-creation strategies, with the team to ensure the individualised service(s) are designed around people’s individual outcomes and aspirations.
  • Provide outcome-based training and workforce development, ensuring team members have a sound awareness of their role and displaying the necessary behaviours and skills.

Qualifications:

  • A relevant health and safety undergraduate or post graduate degree required, chartership via a recognised Institution or equivalent.

  • Wellbeing Manager

Key Performance Indicators:

  • HS&W welfare and wellbeing performance measures developed and achieved to target.
  • Agreed timelines are met.
  • Delivery of HS&W welfare and wellbeing program and actions as designated.
  • Maintain quality control of delivery of program HS&W welfare and wellbeing program.
