Job – Tax Manager

Job Description:

• Manage statutory, tax compliance and audit matters on timely basis and within country specific fiscal calendar.
• Audit internal controls for accuracy of tax compliance.
• Develop and implement tax strategies and plans for legal entities operating in the country.
• Evaluate new and prospective tax legislations.
• Review existing contracts, accounting systems and procedures to management on CIT implications in UAE.
• Support Operations/Business development on tax matters relating to commercial issues and transactions.
• Coordinate and support the preparation of transfer pricing documentation.
• Review and implement inter-company agreements and ensure compliance with the terms and conditions.
• Manage tax accounts and transactions to ensure correct representation of tax balances in the on the GL Activities
• Review and file statutory accounts and tax returns in compliance with local laws, regulations, and generally accepted accounting standards for the country of operation.
• Ensure compliance with requirements for corporate and indirect taxes in the country of operation, including timely filing of returns, payment of taxes, and preparation of transfer pricing documentation.
• Review VAT procedures and business processes to ensure VAT compliance, ensure effective VAT Controls are in place and review VAT Returns prior to filing.
• Develop and implement tax plans in line with company’s policies and structure guidelines.
• Directly manage tax audits and respond to queries from tax authorities timely and ensure issues are resolved.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors, as required.
• Prepare and submit internal reports on a timely basis.
• Advise HR on payroll tax declaration and compliance issues.
• Support Country Operations/Commercial/Business Development on tax matters relating to commercial issues and transactions, including review of client/supplier contract bids/tenders to ensure that tax related issues are adequately addressed.
• Support Operations to develop and implement operating structures and registration in countries.
• Promote tax and fiscal awareness amongst the employees of the organization.
