Job Title – Cargo Network Optimization & Strategy Manager Jobs in Doha, Qatar

Responsibilities:

  •  Identify and action opportunities that maximize the network revenue/contribution through directing regional cargo potential analyses and action plans in order to ensure coherent network wide O&D RM strategies.
  • Ensure the commercial policy (O&D mix, product and customer segmentation) is well understood within the team, by providing regular updates and fostering cross-departmental exchanges in order to maximize seasonal revenues and contributions.
  • Develop and suggest actionable strategies for RFQ requests, by closely coordinating with the wider RM team and Regions to achieve customer tailored solutions which simultaneously benefit the network. Present these strategies in final reviews to the Revenue management team.
  • Monitor the business impact strategies on all relevant aspects of the network performance (incl. O&D Mix, Allotment Strategy, Customer Strategy and Product Strategy), by designing and implementing a monitoring process which highlights deviations from O&D mix, revenue and contribution targets. Take corrective actions where required.
  • Oversee the constant review of O&D performance against targets through reports and feedback from the lead analysts. Act on deviations requiring interventions by the wider RM team or other stakeholders.
  •  Oversee the analysis of the market information and QR internal information by conducting reviews and fostering an environment of constructive discussion in order to ensure the quality of analytical insights (incl. data assumption management, workflow process building (methodology) and market trends).
  • Manage business cases and action plans to ensure that all the parameters combining the analytics and process rigour necessary for network optimization activities with commercial and operational cargo expertise are in place to achieve commercially feasible customer focused outcomes.

 

Educational requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative skills
  • Strong problem solving, communication, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Advanced MS office skills
  • Prior experience in working with O&D optimization software is preferred
  • Excellent command of the English language both verbally and in writing
  • Managerial skills
  • Understanding of air cargo commercial systems and processes will be an advantage.

 

Experience requirements:

  • 5-6 years of job- related experience
  • Proven experience in Revenue Management
