Category Manager Analyst-Abu Dhabi – United Arab Emirates

Job Description

Scope and purpose: To utilize and create data sources to drive ZadSource and client procurement solutions and lead the presentation of data back to external and internal clients.

Main duties:

There are three main areas of responsibility:

1. Client pricing solutions

• Oversee procurement analytics team in supporting basket matching and solution design for new/ existing clients

• Work with a wider team to develop automated/ intelligence-based solutions to increase efficiency and speed of client response

• Feedback to Category Teams on competitive client pricing against client reviews

2. External benchmarking

• Ongoing client requirements to understand and continuously benchmark against the market

• Utilizing multiple data points to develop reporting tools to provide client-facing solutions

• Work with category teams to ensure we have competitive pricing for clients

• Work with the Account Managers and Client resources to develop best-in-class reporting on trends and cost analysis

3. Client opportunity assessment

• Working with ZadSource Account Managers, develop opportunity assessments with existing clients

• Using client data to create analysis-based solutions to support the growth of client categories

• Working with Client data to ensure the most effective and efficient products utilized across the business

• Support Category Managers in developing gap analysis and data-driven solutions in Category Tenders

Key Skills:

• Commercial analytics

• Financial Acumen

• Advanced excel and computing capability

• Procurement knowledge

• Understanding, interpretation, and application of internal/ external client requirements

• Ability to present data in an accessible format

Profile: –

Procurement background with an understanding of clients and customer focus – Proven record of utilizing data and creating data-based solutions for organizations – Dynamic and technology-driven with the ability to understand future trend Requirements – Strong working knowledge of technology-based solutions including MS Office, Power BI, and other reporting tools
