Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

· Manage all engineering resources

· Responsible for overall engineering resources performance of engineering activities ensuring technical sound solution and timely delivery of quality engineering which fully meet projects’ requirement and Client expectations.

· Provide overall leadership & management to engineering team

· Promote quality and safety of design incompliance with local regulatory requirements

· Encourage engineering execution as per procedure and project QHSE requirements

· Manage engineering KPI as per company policy

· Represent company for engineering audits, both internal and external. Ensure and manage timely close out of corrective actions.

· Evaluate performance of Engineering team and recommend to project management action/corrections/adjustments.

· Ensure that all EPC projects are subject to hazard and risk analysis by trained and competent specialist

· Lead project weekly and monthly meeting with Client

· Able to act as a Dy. Project Manager in the absence of Project Manager

· Promote healthy coordination among various departments such as Quality Control, Procurement and Construction related to engineering and design scope.

· Review and approve technical queries, deviations and changes in detailed engineering design scope

Must be graduate in B.Sc/B.E/B.Tech in any Discipline

Must be certified by NEBOSH

International Diploma in Health & Safety (Level-6) is an advantage

Diploma in Fire & Safety is an advantage

Must be completed First Aid training

H2S, Confined Space, PTW, IOSH, OSHAS, Lead Auditor (9001,14001,18001) are an advantage

Minimum experience of 1-3 years in the similar field

Field experience of in Oil & Gas is mandatory

Must be fluent in English language

Desired Candidate Profile

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

· Minimum 15 years’ experience in oil & gas, petrochemical EPC or Consultant companies

· Command of Arabic and English languages is preferred

Experience: ·

Experience in EPC environment

· Knowledge of International Standards and Codes

· At least 1 ADNOC Onshore EPC project in UAE

Computer Skills: · Excellent knowledge of MS Office – Word, Excel, Power point
