Sr. Process Executive

Job – Executive -Quality Assurance

*General*

Championing product safety, quality and legality and engaging with the multi-disciplinary teams to develop & drive a quality culture across site. Quality Assurance is an essential part of this new factory & winning formula.

*Pre-launch + factory build*

• Support factory build & ensure factory is built to BRC, FSSC, Halal, Organic, Kosher & Vegan standard. • Develop the Food Safety & Quality System documents, site GMPs and operating standards procedures . • Lead product & label registration. • Perform product reviews as required by relevant quality certifications and to support customer requirements/customer audit. • Implement SOPs and manage & support completion of risk assessments, HACCP plan, make amendments where relevant & ensure effective implementation of change. • Attend & contribute food safety & quality meeting. • Implement end-to-end quality process and continue to manage. • Promote the Food safety culture through auditing, training and development of the site teams. • Manage fumigation & pest control . • Perform Traceability & mock recall exercise for local & customer specific products.

*Audits*

• Manage all internal & external quality audits & inspections. • Manage outputs from audits and implement corrective action planning to close out any non-conformances by root cause analysis to identify corrective and preventive measures; and agree processes for verifying effectiveness of actions. • Maintain site documentation to the required standard. • Maintain knowledge and be aware of updated food safety legislation. • Communicate all the changes & updates notifications from customer, regulatory & certification.

*Team management*

• Online Quality Team & Hygiene Team management. • Coordination & Supervision of QA online Team and activities related to in-process products & process controls . • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team. • Prepare monthly Quality performance reports & submit to Quality Manager.

*Post Launch*

• Continue management from pre-launch. • Ensure 100% implementation of BRC, FSSC, Halal, Organic, Kosher & Vegan standard requirements. • Continue training to all the teams. • Perform internal audit, GMP audits & daily food safety walk to ensure food safety in place. • Verify Process . • Coordinate with HACCP Team & prepare monthly reviews ppt in line with BRC implementation status. • Manage concessions, rejects, Corrective action, releases for in-process items. • Support customer services & manage customer & supplier complaints (investigation, response and where appropriate, corrective and preventative actions). • Manage customer complain compliant, RCA, Action plan implementation & effectiveness. • Reduce complaints, cost and waste. • Provide troubleshooting support to production. • Responsible for all traceability exercises and mock recalls.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification and Experience: • Relevant degree required: BSc/MSc in food science or technology related discipline (or similar) • Minimum of 5-6 years in a food manufacturing environment within technical management, quality control or quality assurance. • Candidates should have previous experience in multiple food areas, frozen & chilled foods • Food Safety, BRC, FSSC, and HACCP qualifications & experience. • Understanding of Quality Management Systems, ISO and BRC requirements • Knowledge and Experience of managing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) compatible with food manufacturing requirements. • Understand law & legislation in order to ensure that all products launched are safe, legal and meet defined quality standards. • Auditing and corrective action planning trained or experience. • Experience of writing and implementing new quality management procedures, product specification & completing risk assessments. • Product safety management experience. • Experience with complaint reviews and management . • Food Microbiology knowledge. • Proficiency in MS Office Applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. • Enthusiastic problem-solver who can work accurately & quickly under pressure. • Understanding manufacturing sites capabilities. • Demonstrate ability to manage staff.
