General Accountant – Job Responsibilities

• Prepare, examine and analyze accounting records and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
• VAT/Taxation key essentials
• Document financial transactions by entering account information
• Reconcile financial discrepancies
• Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information and trends
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements, budget performance
• Support month-end and year-end closing process
• Maintain financial security by following internal controls
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Liaise with the auditors to complete audit tasks

General Accountant – Requirements

• Bachelor degree in accounts & finance ( Preferably ACCA,CPA and A CPA)
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in VAT and Taxation in UAE
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Computer Literate and strong excel and database skills
• Team Player and have ability to work Independently
• Fluent in English
