Job – HSE Engineer

Job Description :

– Daily site inspections to monitor the safety implementation on site

– Identifying, rectifying & reporting unsafe conditions and acts on site

– Coordinate with HSE manager to integrate HSE requirements on the project activities.

– Provide guidance to sub-contractor HSE personnel and implementation team on HSE matters

– Conducts internal/external audits as required. Coordinates with the sub-contractors for relevant audit activities.

– To assist management with implementation of the company, client and statutory HSE requirements.

– To monitor performance, identify any training needs and to coach on a one-to-one basis as required for prompt rectification and implementation of safety protocols.

– To assist the HSE manager implement the action plan to achieve annual HSE targets

– To organize and/or conduct HSE technical and management system audits and to monitor proper follow up of improvement actions at project and regional level.

– To conduct and/or facilitate the reporting and investigation of accidents and incidents and to maintain an oversight to follow up and closeout of corrective actions.

– To inspect and maintain the documentation required as per client and company requirements.

– Conduct planned and unplanned drills to ascertain the effectiveness of the emergency plan

– Requires a proactive approach to identify and control hazards and risks

Job Qualifications:

– Experience in electrical/utility projects

– Candidates with experience working with ADDC/AADC will be given preference.
