Job Title – Lab Technician Jobs in Doha, Qatar

Responsibilities:

As a Laboratory Technician you are responsible for analyzing samples to support optimal process management of the various factories in the Rotterdam region. This concerns samples of semi-finished and finished products as well as samples for checking environmental emissions. You work in a full continuous, 5-shift system or in a day shift function. Together with your team, you are able to systematically analyze the samples offered and, if necessary, coordinate the priority with colleagues from other departments. You use analysis equipment and various test setups that are operated manually or with software. You are also responsible for the quality of the analysis results and you also carry out checks to determine whether the measurements are reliable.
In addition, you are also first aid support for the location, in normal process operation as well as in case of calamities. We are looking for a Laboratory Technician who can work both independently and in a team.

Educational requirements:

A completed MBO / HBO Analytical Chemical direction.
Decisive and solution-oriented, knows how to set the right priorities and takes initiative

Strong analytical thinking and can keep a good overview, especially during peaks in the workload.
Able to work independently and in a team
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and affinity with Laboratory software and automation.

First aid certificate or willingness to obtain it.
Masters the Dutch language and has basic knowledge of the English language

Experience requirements:

Relevant work experience in a petrochemical environment is an advantage.
