Job Title -Manager, Trucking Operations and Distribution Jobs in NEOM City, Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities :

Support the day-to-day operational management for all transport and fleet operations.

Ensure resources (workforce and assets) are utilized and deployed in a safe and efficient manner to support business activities.
Review emerging/upcoming transport operations to determine future resource requirements.
Uphold a culture of business process improvements that support continuous improvements and efficiencies.

Support the strategic positioning of transportation operation processes within warehousing or freight forwarding operations as well as the Port of NEOM
Support the successful completion of technology projects.
Manage overall transportation operations, including the transport of dangerous goods and chemicals.

Motivate colleagues at organizational level to develop innovative solutions for driving change.
Review areas in logistics operations where technology can enhance processes.
Review better ways to approach problems through technology.

Review cargo consolidation plans to identify savings in space, cost, and efficiency.
Work with sub-contracted or leased asset contractors to minimize downtime and maximize utilization.
Review effectiveness of HSE & Risk Management Plans and ensure they remain visible, effective and are being adhered to.

Review incident or crisis management plans to mitigate gaps.
Ensure all owned, sub-contracted, leased or rented equipment meets or exceeds both regulatory and NEOM Standards.
Ensure that all employed (Direct & Indirect), sub-contracted or agency personnel adhere to and uphold all KSA Regulatory and NEOM Standards including HSE, NEOM Values and behave in a safe and ethical manner at all times.

Manage day to day operations of the truck fleet.
Ensure that operations work within the KSA Regulatory and NEOM Framework.
Manage assets and available business in such a way as to minimize operational expenses while maximizing equipment utilization and driving profitability.

Supervise personnel including any subcontracted or third-party agency personnel.
Lead by example and promote HSE and NEOM Values.

Educational requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration

Experience requirements:

At least 10+ years of experience in heavy transport operations, managing a fleet of 100+ assets
Operational Management experience in a road freight/trucking company is mandatory

Previous experience of working with a (TMS – Transportation management system) would be highly advantageous.

Desired Skills:

Sound knowledge of KSA Ministry of Transport and Transport General Authority Requirements, including abnormal load requirements.
Excellent English verbal and written skills are required.
