MEP Bid Engineer – Job Description

• Ability to technically read tender documentation i.e drawings/specifications/BoQs/Sub contractor quotations/RFIs/PTCs/annexes/schedules
• Good commercial awareness on current market rates for materials/labour/plant/others related to the execution and contracting for all MEP disciplines.
• Good negotiation skills when dealing with suppliers/sub contractors/clients
• Good team player and communication skills
• Work to tight deadlines and ensure deliverables , inclusive extended hours
• Good awareness of contractual aspects related to clients contracts and sub contractors contracts
• Sound experience working on building projects with added experience eon civil/infrastructure.

MEP Bid Engineer – Job Requirement

• Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial combined with commercial insight/interest or commercial background with strong interest in understanding of technical aspects
• Preference to engineer who is knowledge in mechanical and electrical disciplines
• 10 years related experience.
• Proficient in Excel/MS Office – estimating software an advantage e.g Candy
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Prior experience leading technical negotiations, ideally on high-end building construction industry
• Fluent in English both spoken and written;
• Highly energetic person with initiative and confidence who is mature and self-motivated with a good knowledge of contracts, bill of quantities and tenders.
