Responsibilities:

Planning, development and integration of multi-modal mobility systems with NEOM regional and urban master plans

Development of integrated multi-modal transport demand model (NSDM)
Multi-modal mobility assessments in order to guide technical design, operations and service requirements
Travel demand forecast, assessing community benefits and determining economic & financial performance using various techniques and tools

Business case development and financial modeling for multi-modal mobility systems
Formulate and assess impact of mobility policies and implementation strategies on integrated NEOM mobility network
Develop, maintain and calibrate in-house bespoke transport models, applications and tools

Development and maintenance of Land Mobility guidelines and standards
Manage other projects and/or tasks as may be assigned

Educational requirements:

Postgraduate degree in Transport Planning, Transport Engineering, Regional or Urban Planning, or any other Transport related discipline

Experience requirements:

7 – 10 years of work experience in transportation planning and strategic/micro/pedestrian modeling
Significant experience across different mobility modes and service environments, including public transit, shared mobility, active and micro-mobility, pedestrian design, and surface transport including Metro and BRT systems and services

Experience working with regional and urban master plans and integration of transportation planning with wider infrastructural planning
Experience operating in diverse environments and with national, regional, and municipal administrations and transport authorities
Experience working with private and public sector stakeholders and suppliers in delivering transport services and solutions

Desired Skills:

Deep understanding of complex and integrated public mobility systems and service delivery management at the regional and urban level
Significant experience and understanding of sustainable and new mobility including their required infrastructure and services

High-level communication and presentation skills and ability to liaise with all internal and external stakeholders in large-scale public mobility infrastructure projects
Background in spatial and mobility planning using GIS with specific experience in VISUM/GIS interfacing
Proficiency in PYTHON and experience in other scripting tools for spatial visualizations

Qualifications:

Expert knowledge of both strategic and micro simulation transport model software including VISUM and VISSIM
Expert knowledge of pedestrian modelling and evacuation, including stadium, events and buildings using industry software such as LEGION/VISWALK/MASSMOTION

Expert knowledge of design, planning, network development and implementation of integrated regional and urban transport and mobility systems and services
